Why did you choose to study abroad?
Through my journey of growing up, I've never pinned down what exactly I want to do after college. However, I have always had a passion for traveling, instilled by my parents at a young age. Internships seem to be a growing necessity in the business world, and bridging my passion for traveling and non-profits, I realized interning and studying abroad for a semester in my senior year was a perfect fit for me.
Why did you choose your study abroad city?
Despite the rumors, I did not choose to study abroad in Dublin Ireland due to my red hair (even though I still believe it's strawberry blonde, but everyone insists it's red, so fine). I chose Dublin, Ireland because as a teenager, a best friend and I always dreamed of running away to Ireland due to its vast natural beauties. When I saw Dublin, Ireland as a place that had many non-profit connections, and an internship opportunity, everything seemed to fall into place.
What are you most looking forward to during your study abroad experience?
I look forward to filling up every SD card I own full of memories and experiences in Ireland. I am so fortunate to have this amazing opportunity to intern and study abroad, and I don't plan to take it for granted. I can't wait to pack as much learning inside the classroom, on the job, and in Ireland as I can.
Growing up in a high mountain town that is 7,000-feet above sea level, I love adventures outdoors! In this small mountain town, I became a certified black belt, founded my photography business, Cali Fisler Photography, and played on a club and high school soccer team. I was born a University of Arizona Wildcat fan, and now attend and work at Eller College of Management at the U of A. Bear Down!
