Seville is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, it can be difficult trying to figure out where to go and what to do. Here are the top three places to go in Seville, Spain. Parque Maria Luisa Any decent tour guide will tell you that the wonders of Parque Maria Luisa are not to go unseen. This park has everything: horse and carriage rides, an incredible fountain dedicated to the beauty of Spain, orange tree-lined paths, and more than enough benches and green spaces to sit…

A little while back I posted a blog about climbing up St. Peter’s Dome. My words and few pictures could not do justice to how breathtaking the walk is. I went up St. Peter’s Dome once again to film for this video. I hope this does St. Peter’s more justice! Enjoy! Have any questions or comments? Let me know in the comments section below!   Olivia Ferri is the Fall 2017 CEA MOJO Photographer in Rome, Italy. She is currently a Junior studying Business Management and Theology at…

Italy is known for it’s art. I am an art major, but I wanted to focus more on the architecture and placement of things. This series of photographs come from a school field trip that took place in Rome and the Vatican. We went to several different churches and buildings and the Colosseum. I can not wrap my head around how someone could build these incredible structures. I hope you enjoy these photographs, and I hope they do justice to how incredible and beautiful these places are in real…

Having lived in Prague for a few months now, I can appreciate how lucky I am to live in the Ujezd district of Prague 5. I live only a few steps away from the prettiest area of Prague, Petrin Hill. Popular in the warm months, Petrin Hill is the perfect spot in Prague if you want exercise, mixed with the best view of the city. About a month ago, the cherry blossom trees at the base of the hill opened up and are now in full bloom. I…

It is difficult for me to write this last blog knowing it means my journey in Prague is coming to an end. It’s not possible for me to put into words how much this city and this experience has meant to me. Never in a million years did I think four months could fly by this fast. I’ve made lifelong friends and a lifetime of memories which are making it so much harder to leave this place. I don’t know how I got so lucky to live…

The new warm weather in Prague comes with many perks. My personal favorite is the Naplavka Farmers Market every Saturday. Not only is the market huge, it is also right along the the water, making it even more enjoyable on a Saturday morning. The market is close to Old Town Square and even closer to my apartment.  If it wasn’t already obvious from my last few blogs, I’m a big foodie and I appreciate local, fresh food. I always make sure to bring a big backpack when I…

Prague is known for it’s vibrant street culture, whether that be art, performances, or food. A typical walk across the Charles Bridge and into Old Town Square will immerse all of your senses. The local street food is my favorite part of the walk with the endless options of typical European cuisines that are easy to eat while exploring the square. The amount of talented street performers will amaze you while keeping you wanting more. The reasons I love Prague are endless, mostly because Prague is a city of never-ending excitement….

Prague is known for it’s hearty Czech food such as goulash and bread dumplings. I have eaten my fair share of Czech food since I’ve been abroad, but I have also been trying just about every other type of cuisine I can find. Below is a compilation of all of my favorite international restaurants in Prague city that I would recommendto everyone who visits. Pasta Fresca Prague has an unusually high amount of Italian food everywhere you look. I have not had a bad Italian meal since I’ve been…

This week I went on the CEA excursion to the brewery tour. What I thought was going to be a quick afternoon walk around a brewery, ended up being so much more. We had a bit of a hike up to the Strahov Brewery, but our guide kept us entertained the entire way up. She took us by the American Embassy and the German Embassy to give us a short history lesson about the beautiful buildings. The German Embassy even has a garden in the back with some interesting modern…

“Hola, como andas?” “Bien, y vos?” “Todo tranqui, gracias.” About four months ago, I wouldn’t have been able to tell you what half of those words meant. Since then, I’ve greeted my new friends and family with these words almost every day. Despite having studied Spanish for six years and visiting other Spanish-speaking countries, I could have never known what it would be like to live in Buenos Aires without actually experiencing it. Argentina has such a unique and rich culture, and living here has been an amazing…
